A medieval building named Bifora 65 in front of San Giulio island on the Orta lake has been restored, and will host an accommodation facility. Fontanot is present with three staircases, one of these is a white 110cm diameter Slim.
Slim’s 030 railing ascends toward the mezzanine, continuing as a balustrade. The stair’s RAL 9010 white adds to the space’s functionality and helps keep in line with the restoration’s linear and contemporary style.
White is an element of continuity that the balustrade inherits from the Slim spiral staircase.
Slim’s double handrail twists and turns, allowing the staircase to remain as one with the balustrade.
Slim’s essential lines are not invasive and allow the stone wall to remain the protagonist of the space.
The neutral tone plays with the accessories’ colors and lightens the bare stone wall.
LaFont Essential 090A winder. RAL 9010 white structure and bleached beech treads. The white and the clear glass of the railing give light to the space.
Small spaces? No problem. The fastening solutions allow a precise final result, worthy of the home that hosts a LaFont staircase.
Exposed stainless steel fasteners for the LaFont 090A railing create contrast and enhance the entire project’s contemporary style.
Warm and valuable views for a building in the historical village of Orta San Giulio. The LaFont 090 A connects the spaces in harmony with the elements it is composed of.
The wall handrail and the stone wall create a contrast that accompanies the space.
